"Refreshing and mellow"

Episode 1, Mihiro Akai/Novelist

A classmate from high school sent me some alcohol.
A few days ago, when we were drinking sake at a soba restaurant, I remembered him saying, ``I found some good sake, so I'll send it to you.'' He must have liked her very much, since he rarely kept his promises.
The brand was Gazan.
The plain label says, ``Junmai Daiginjo, polished 35%'' and ``Special A Yamada Nishiki from Hyogo Prefecture.'' And it's also called a "limited item." There is a quality-oriented atmosphere.
I've been drinking a lot at home due to the coronavirus outbreak, so I thought this was a good idea, so I served bitter melon sprinkled with dried bonito flakes as a side dish, chilled it, and opened the bottle before dinner.
Pour into Edo Kiriko making a nice sound.
“Oh,” my wife called out from behind the kitchen counter.
"It smells good. It smells all the way here."
It's definitely a nice, refreshing scent. If it were from autumn to winter, I might have described it as mellow.
When I took a sip, a fruity taste spread in my mouth.
And the sense of bliss spread.
